Commission models
Commission models are primary commission calculation processes; and each sales representative is entitled to a specific model. These commission models can be arranged in a commission model portfolio, which allows the user to generate a commission group, i.e. a commission template, appropriate for the specific contract package.
Commission templates
Once the specific commission models have been defined, they can be re-arranged into groups as needed, and the user can generate so-called commission templates.
Specific commission templates can be activated or inactivated at any time, therefore the commission system can be enhanced during live operations without disturbing any existing procedures before the new ones become effective.
Contract packages
Your company is connected to sales representatives and agencies through different contract packages. The contents of specific contract packages consist of the pre-defined commission templates. Consequently, a contracted agency has one or more contract package(s) assigned to it with one or more commission template(s).
Sales representatives and agencies
The system maintains a registry of contracted external sales representatives and agencies by means of separate data tabs, including all required metadata. For each agency the system can generate an agency hierarchy at any required depth.

Our commission calculation system is an SOA-based solution. This means that the business logic associated with commission calculations can be accessed through a pre-defined SOA service interface, and all results are provided through the same service.

Ergonomical RIA interface
The rich internet application (RIA) technology used for our product enables the user to access extremely sophisticated and ergonomical user interfaces. Users can easily resize or change the order of the columns of the displayed table, or rearrange the contents of each column as they please just by clicking on its heading.
Settlement support
The system supports each commission settlement method by generating different statements both for internal use, and as proof of settlement with the sales representatives. Settlement periods can be changed as needed.
Authorisation management
The system has a sophisticated hierarchical authorisation system. An authorisation role can be defined for each job description, which can be set for individual screens and command buttons.
For simple use, individual users should be assigned to an existing authorisation role, and they can start using the system already. By changing an authorisation role the authorisation of all users belonging to that specific role is changed in one step.
Comprehensive logs
The system generates a log file recording each database change. As a result, the system tracks each data change, including the user executing the change, the time of the change, the original and the new data.
